LOG-O-PHILE

We use spoken and written words every single day to communicate ideas, thoughts, and emotions to those around us. Sometimes we communicate successfully, and sometimes we’re not quite so successful. A good vocabulary can help us say what we mean.

Here are some new words to discuss and to add to your student’s vocabulary, which will help him/her to better understand their emotions. We encourage parents and students to put their faith / trust in the Lord and to “fear not”.

Faith (noun)

trust (noun)

Reliance on the integrity, strength, ability of a person or thing; confidence

Fear (noun)

Fear (verb)

To have fear; be afraid; to feel apprehensive or uneasy (usually followed by for).
